Are you pushing yourself hard enough with your workouts?

You're showing up and working out, but are you actually pushing yourself hard enough to get the results you want? 🤔

As your body acclimates to a prescribed set and rep count (IE: 3 sets x 8-10 reps), you’ll gain a better understanding of knowing when a weight or exercise has become too easy by using the last couple reps of a set as an indicator. 

Let’s say you’re doing a set of 8-10 pull-ups and reps 9 & 10 are done fairly easy with little struggle… 

it’s time you increase the resistance. 😖

Could you have done another 1, 2 or even 3 more reps? 

If so…

… it’s time to bump it up! ⬆️

Add weight/resistance or increase the reps of that exercise. 

However, on the flip side…

if you struggled to get within your rep range with proper form for that particular exercise…

… you are not ready to increase your weights or resistance on that particular exercise. 

Keep at it until you can complete all sets of your targeted rep range. 

But when you do…

Bump it up! 💪🏼
